Agreement to terms
By accessing aerixorbit.com or joining our early access waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or sign up for the waitlist. These terms apply to your use of our website and any communications we send as part of the waitlist — they do not yet cover the purchase or use of an Orbit device, since the product is not currently available for sale.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to join our waitlist or use this site. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to provide your email address. Our products are designed for vehicle owners, and any future purchase of Orbit will require you to be of legal age to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.
The early access waitlist
Joining the waitlist means providing your email address so we can notify you when Orbit becomes available, along with any early access pricing we offer to waitlist members. Joining the waitlist:
- Is free and creates no obligation to purchase anything
- Does not reserve a unit, guarantee pricing, or guarantee availability
- Can be cancelled at any time by unsubscribing from our emails
- Will result in at most one email at launch, as described in our Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to limit, modify, or discontinue early access offers at our discretion before they are finalized.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, product names (Orbit, BreachSense, CalmVoice, RippleWarn, SwiftFile, SmartHide, HeatSense, SafeWalk, DashWatch, OrbitalVision), and design — is the property of Aerix Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and share this website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
Aerix has a pending patent application covering core elements of the Orbit detection and deterrence architecture. Unauthorized use of our patented technology, trademarks, or trade secrets is prohibited.
Claims about the product
Orbit is currently in development. We've tried to be direct on this site and on our Deep Dive page about what is currently a working prototype versus what is planned for the production version. Statements about future features, specifications, pricing, and availability are forward-looking and subject to change as engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory processes progress.
Nothing on this site is a guarantee of future product performance, specifications, or availability. We will update this site and our communications as our development timeline becomes more certain.
Acceptable use
When using this site, you agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with the site's operation
- Scrape, harvest, or collect information from the site using automated means without permission
- Impersonate Aerix Inc. or misrepresent your affiliation with us
- Submit false or fraudulent information when joining the waitlist
Disclaimers
This website and the information on it are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Research and statistics cited on this site, including third-party criminology studies, describe security deterrence broadly and are not studies of Aerix Orbit specifically. We will publish our own product performance data as it becomes available through testing and deployment, and we make no guarantee about the future performance of the product based on this third-party research.
Orbit does not guarantee that no break-in or theft will occur. No security product can make that guarantee. Orbit is designed to deter and detect threats — it is not a substitute for your own judgment about vehicle and personal safety.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aerix Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or participation in the waitlist, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Because the Orbit product is not currently available for purchase, this section does not yet address product liability, warranty claims, or related matters — those will be addressed in updated terms before the product becomes available for sale.
When Orbit becomes available for purchase
These terms will be substantially expanded before Orbit is available for purchase to address matters including: purchase and payment terms, shipping and delivery, returns and the replacement guarantee for cellular subscribers, warranty terms, the optional cellular service agreement, and device-specific terms of use. We will notify waitlist members when updated terms are published.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms here with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles, as Aerix Inc. is a Delaware corporation.
Contact us
Questions about these terms can be directed to Aerix Inc. through the contact information on our website.
These terms reflect our current pre-launch operations. They will be expanded and reviewed by legal counsel before Orbit becomes available for purchase, to address purchase, warranty, and service terms in full.
