Vehicle Security  ·  Reimagined

The footage didn’t matter. So we built
something that does.

Orbit mounts in your headliner and watches for trouble before it starts — then it speaks up. No subscription. No cloud. Just a car that looks after itself.

Property crime clearance rate. The footage exists. It almost never changes the outcome.

Every dashcam recorded it perfectly. Nobody was stopped. We built a different thing.

Orbit doesn’t watch the break-in happen. It’s why the break-in doesn’t happen.

How it works

One goal.
Nothing happened.

Orbit detects threats before contact, responds before anything is touched, and coordinates every nearby unit simultaneously. Every stage exists to make the next one unnecessary. See the full system breakdown →

01

Radar detects — before contact

mmWave radar pings every 100ms while everything else sleeps. The moment it detects a human energy signature within range, the full system wakes. Before any window is touched. Before any decision is made.

Monitoring

02

Three layers must agree

Vision AI, audio classification, and radar must all confirm simultaneously. A pedestrian walking past triggers nothing. Someone loitering and testing your handle triggers everything at once.

Classifying

03

CalmVoice and RippleWarn fire together

A directed voice responds to the specific behaviour detected. At the same moment, an encrypted alert reaches every nearby Orbit unit in under one second. The whole lot responds before anything is touched.

Active deterrence

04

Nothing happened

In most cases it ends here. The person leaves. Incident logged on-device. Pre-event footage preserved locally — never transmitted. Your car exactly as you left it.

Secured

Why it works

The research says deterrence works.
Orbit is built around that.

83%

of convicted burglars said they'd check for a security system first and walk away if they found one.

60%

said a visible alarm alone was enough to make them choose a completely different target.

50%+

said they'd stop a break-in mid-attempt the moment they discovered an active alarm.

Four independent university studies back this up. Orbit is built around the specific mechanisms the research says actually work — directed voice over generic sirens, layered confirmation over single triggers, network effect over single devices. Read the full research breakdown →

Honest comparison

What Orbit is.
What it isn't.

A lot of products claim to be more than they are. Here's a plain comparison — including the things Orbit genuinely doesn't do.

Everyone else
Records what happened. Doesn't stop it.
Footage stored on manufacturer servers. Accessible to them.
Generic siren. Ignored by everyone nearby.
Features locked behind monthly subscription.
Single device, single car. No network effect.
Reacts after contact. Window already touched.
Data used to train models, sold to advertisers, or breached.
Aerix Orbit
Detects and deters before contact. No footage to watch.
Footage on your device only. We cannot access it. By architecture.
Directed voice specific to the detected behaviour. Impossible to ignore.
Every feature works at purchase. No recurring cost for core functionality.
Encrypted mesh — the whole lot responds when one car sees something.
Radar detects presence at range. Response fires before any touch.
Zero-knowledge encryption. No data to sell. No breach surface.

What Orbit genuinely doesn't do — yet.

Night detection is harder than daylight and we're still working on it. The AI requires multiple confirmation signals which means edge cases exist. The mesh only strengthens with density — one unit alone won't cover a whole city block. We're a pre-launch company and this is the first version of the product. We'd rather tell you the limitations now than have you find out later.

Auto-compiled evidence report. One tap to share with authorities.

06
SmartHide

Valuables scan on departure

Alerts you to visible valuables before you walk away.

07
HeatSense

Occupancy & emergency detection

Detects people or animals left in hot vehicles. Calls for help automatically.

08
SafeWalk

Mesh escort to your car

The mesh watches your path back. You’re never walking alone.

09
DashWatch

Continuous front recording

Always-on. On-device only. No subscription. No cloud.

10
Zero-knowledge + Kill switch

Privacy by architecture

Your key never leaves your phone. Hardware disconnects all cameras instantly.

DashWatch

Continuous front recording

Always-on forward-facing recording stored entirely on-device. No subscription required. No cloud upload. No retention policy managed by anyone other than you.

DashWatch records while you drive and while you park. The pre-event buffer means that whatever happens — whether driving or stationary — the moments before the event are captured, not just the event itself.

Your footage. Your device. Your decision what happens to it. That is the complete policy.

SwiftFile

The report we hope
never gets used.

When something does happen, Orbit auto-compiles everything into a complete incident report. Timestamped footage. Detection timeline. Behavioural analysis. One tap to share with law enforcement — only if you choose to.

Owner-controlled — nothing is shared without your explicit authorisation

Pre-event buffer — captures what happened before the trigger, not just after

Zero-knowledge — Aerix cannot read your report. The key is on your phone

Auto-compiled — detection log, timeline, evidence frames, all in one document

Is Orbit right for you

Built for urban drivers
who park in lots, not private garages.

Orbit is for you if —
You park in city lots, garages, or on the street regularly
You've been broken into before and don't want it to happen again
You carry valuable things in your car and worry about leaving them
You care about privacy and don't want footage on someone else's server
You're tired of paying monthly for features that should be included
You want protection that acts before the window breaks, not after
You travel frequently and park in unfamiliar areas
You have children or pets and worry about them being left in a hot car
You walk back to your car alone at night and want to know it's clear first
Orbit probably isn't for you if —
You park in a locked private garage and never in public
You want a dashcam first and security second
You want a guarantee that nothing will ever happen to your car
You're looking for the cheapest possible option
You want footage stored in the cloud so you can access it anywhere

Where Orbit works

The situations
Orbit was built for.

01

City parking lots and garages

High foot traffic. Low lighting. Lots of cars, few witnesses. This is where the majority of vehicle break-ins happen and where the mesh is most powerful — every nearby Orbit unit coordinates the moment one detects something.

02

Overnight street parking

You can't watch your car while you sleep. Orbit can. The radar pings every 100ms through the night drawing minimal power, and the system only wakes fully when someone approaches. By morning your car is exactly as you left it — or you have a full SwiftFile report of what happened.

03

Travel and unfamiliar areas

Airport long-term parking. Hotel lots. Cities you don't know. The cellular plan sends push notifications wherever you are, so you know immediately if something triggers — and the pre-event buffer means evidence is captured before you even respond.

04

Valuables you can't always hide

SmartHide scans the interior before you walk away and alerts you to anything visible. The most common cause of vehicle break-ins is a bag, device, or piece of equipment left on a seat. Orbit catches that before it catches someone else's attention.

05

Walking back to your car at night

SafeWalk activates from your phone and uses the mesh to monitor your path back to the vehicle. If any nearby unit detects unusual activity on your route, you know before you arrive. You're never walking back alone.

06

Children and pets in the car

HeatSense monitors for occupancy after you leave and tracks cabin temperature. If a child or animal is detected in dangerous heat conditions, the system alerts you and escalates to emergency services automatically. This is a life-safety system, not a convenience feature.

The commitment

No subscription. No data sales. No cloud access. No exceptions.

Architecture enforces this. Not policy. Math.

About Aerix

Built by people
who lost something.

Aerix was founded after both of our families were robbed. The footage existed. Nobody was caught. We spent the last 12 months building towards the answer we couldn’t find anywhere else.

The problem

Vehicle break-ins happen every 15 seconds in the United States. The clearance rate is 13%. Not because the footage doesn’t exist — it does. Because footage after the fact almost never changes the outcome. The window is broken. The memories are gone. The time is lost. The report goes nowhere.

Why we exist

We didn’t set out to build a better dashcam. We set out to build something that prevents the break-in from happening. Not a product that documents your loss. A product that makes sure there is no loss. The distinction is everything.

Our approach

Every decision at Aerix runs through one filter: does this help stop theft, or does it not. No subscriptions that make the product inaccessible. No cloud that holds your footage hostage. No data to sell. Architecture enforces our values. Not policy.

The commitment

Orbit will continue to work until it physically cannot. No forced upgrades. No features locked behind paywalls. No end-of-life that leaves you unprotected. You buy it once. We spend the rest of our time making sure it keeps working.

We hope SwiftFile never gets used.
We hope the siren never fires.
We hope you forget Orbit is there.

The best outcome is a car exactly as you left it. Every feature we built exists to make sure that’s the only outcome you ever experience.

Two cousins. Both families robbed.
“High-resolution footage of everything.
Case closed. Nobody caught.”

We spent months building the answer
we couldn’t find anywhere else.
